Order Book Value is a Sales Pipeline related KPI that is closely related to Pipeline Value with only minor differences. Order Book Value represents all Opportunities that are won irrespective of time context and not implemented yet.
Order Book Value indicates the position of an organization’s future prospects and are used extensively in all industries that work on large projects e.g. Construction. This KPI is just a high level indicator and once an opportunity is converted to an actual order or project, it is removed from Order Book Value.
Public Companies do not disclose any CRM or Pre-Sales data with an exception of this KPI, which is reported in either Quarterly or Annual basis.
